7 December 2004 - Life in WombsVille (Part 2)

my check up was yesterday.... and again i was te 1st patient... soon the nurse called out my name.... the usual blood pressure taken, its all A-OK...

now its the scanning part.... doc was saying dat my water is rather low.... OMG! i was shocked and scared at the same time.... thus, she told me to walk around and come back to see her in 30mins time.... and by dat time if the water is still low, they will have to induce me.....

so, hubby n myself walked around KK, had our bfast and soon it was the time to go in again....

i was asked to lay down and the doc started her scanning.... it was rather long.... and after awhile she said... "Should be OK!".... well, its not dat convincing for me... and i was then told dat the water is rather borderline.... she asked if i had any leakage.... as far as i know....i dun tink so.... its juz dat i had frequent urination.... dats all...

doc then said Dun worry, should be Ok! alamak! everytime should be OK... aku tak puas hati sey....

the only firm advise she gave me was... To count the baby kicks from 9am to 9pm... it must be at least 10 and not lesser than that... if it is lesser, straightaway come down to the Emergency or Delivery Suite and they will monitor me....

so, ive started counting the kicks.... and around 5am today i decided to call the Emergency Clinic to enquire coz baby didnt move at all since 12 midnite! the nurse than told me..besides the kicks, make sure I do not have any bleeding... to look out for abdominal pain as well.... and whenever i feel unsure / unsafe.... come down to KK immediately....

so dats the story of my Little One... make me anxious all the time.... ive started counting the kicks starting at 9am.... but so far there was only ONCE! we shall see later...

till then frens, pray for me all is well....and if i didnt update for quite awhile....you know where am i then....

those mothers with advises or any experiences, please do leave me messages ya!
