My Little One Finally is HERE

24 December 2004 - My Little One Finally is HERE!!

I was admitted on 21 Dec 2004 after my check up with the gynae as was told that my water is really low so she suggested to induce. Since I am already in my 38th week, i then agreed.

I was in the antenatal ward around 2pm and was told to insert a tablet to soften the cervic at 4pm. The 1st tablet didnt have much effect on me and the 2nd onee was scheduled at 10pm. So there I was again in the delivery suite from 10pm till 1am. Still the pain is not much and was pushed back to the antenatal ward. Hubby then left for home as he was very tired running thru n fro.

But once i was back in the ward, I cant sleep. Pain started coming in at every 10 mins. I cant sleep at all. Called the nurse and they checked the fetal heartbeat for 45 mins wz me bearing the pain every 10 mins. Once it was over, it was already about 4am, I told the nurse that I wanna get a pain relief coz it was so painful. So they pushed me back to the Delivery Suite.

They gave me a jab on thee thigh but its of no use! Thanks! At around 5.30am my water bag burst and since then on the unbearable pain came at EVERY 5 MINS! Soon my gynae, Dr Kang came... hubby also came around the same time... i was squeezing his hand like a rod but all he can say is "Its gonna be over soon!"....

I wanted to get epidural but Dr Kang mentioned that I have dilated very fast and i will be able to give birth in about 2 hours time, latest at 9am... so i decided to forgo the idea of epidural and juz let me suffer the pain...

So finally at 7.46am, after about 2.5 hours of REAL PAIN, Ashaz Aqeel Uz Zaman arrived on 22 Dec 2004 at 7.46am. He is a healthy baby weighing at 3.11kg with the height of 49cm.
