I Love Being A Mama!

For 38 weeks you were in my womb.
1st trimester was the hardest.
Put on 18kg and till now having difficulties coz Im still big (thanks!).
Was in labour since 1am till 7.46am on 22 Dec 2004.
Sleepless nights for the 1st month.

But am I complaining??

Definately NO.

Bacause,

You are our seed of love.
You are my precious little gem.
You are my laughter when Im sad.
You are my light when Im in the dark.
And most important of all, you COMPLETE me. You made me a MOTHER!

To all Mothers our there, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!


How can I not love you more each day whenever I look at you :)

ASH at his worst

He was down wz fever on Monday evening and after giving him the fever medicine he was better. His appetite went downhill since then. At times he will vomit out the food. Maybe hes having sore throat dats wat I thought! He was in his cheerful self. Running here and there and playing like nobody's business.

Come Friday afternoon, we were in the car. He was quiet and suddenly he puked! All over the seat and not forgetting my clothes and his clothes. He seemed lethargic by then. We rushed back home immediately. After cleaning up he fell asleep. We then brought him down to a GP and was given medication to stop vomiting and an anti-biotic. He was again his normal self. While we were celebrating his cousin's birthday, suddenly Ash puked again. It was milk this time. And we were told to bring him to the clinic and he will get a jab. It was already 11pm when we reached home.
Milk is a NO-NO at this time and I was told to give him just glucose water.

He was sleeping with us and a few times I knew he was feeling uncomfortable. It was at 2am that he again puked and hubby said, It can't go on like this, we have to go to the Hospital - ER.

Ash was awake when we reached and they took 3 blardy tubes of blood samples. He was crying!!! It really pains me to see that!!! Can you imagine? His hand is so small and here they are drawing blood out of him. They then put him on drip for almost 3 hours. He was sleeping at that time.




Results of the blood came out as what we were hoping for. All is A-Ok. They diagnosed him wz acute gastritis and was told to give him glucose water only by per sip and a very light soft diet.



Me and Hub were awake the whole nite and we safely reached home at 9am on Saturday. Alhamdulillah he didnt puke after that and is now back to his tak boleh diam self :)

Im still giving him a light diet tho. And I just hope that his appetite will return slowly and I get to feed him like the normal days. I just cant take it when I see him only having banana, custard and jelly. On the 1st day even worst, only water! Confirm dia mesti lapar kan? And at night he was crying (coz he was huungry), I cant give him milk and the only thing I can give him is Banana! And frankly at dat point of time I felt so damn useless as a mother!!!

Anyways, Alhamdulillah he is so much better now :)
