Bila Larut Malam

Ash SO loves to take or even pull my glasses and play around with it. And thanks to him my glasses becames loose and I have to had it tighten again and again. Thus, when we were in Limbang, I decided to get a plastic glasses for him to play with but the kind shopkeeper gave it to us as a gift.... Of coz, its easily breakable lah and Ash was ONE happy kid!

Im 13 months already

Ash turned 13 months on 22 January 2006. He has started walking all by himself. But well, of coz he "tripped" on a few occasions. Kesian buntut dia but hor kan pakai pampers, so I assumed not dat painful lah. haha...

Since he started his walking mission, he has been walking non stop. From living room to the study room, to the bedrooms, to the kitchen and when he sees the gate is opened, that will be his next station. Naik penat aku dibuatnya!

Not only that, he LOVES diving down too. Just click on the muvees yah!

Water Fun and School Time

Baby Ash had so much fun splashing water here and there in the mini pool dat we "planted" at the corridor. At 1st he was rather scared to "jump" into it but after awhile he juz cant resist it. Heehee...



Meanwhile, he attended his 1st lesson last Friday at Audi Montessori.

Baby Ash Aqiqah cum 1st Birthday Bash!

25 December 2005 - Baby Ash Aqiqah cum 1st Birthday Bash!!

22 December 2004, I gave birth to a 3.11kg, 49cm Baby Boy. And in 22 December 2005, this little boy of mine turned 1 year old. Time flies really fast and look at him now. He has grown so much. He can only walk a few steps and after dat...gedebub..jatoh ar!

We held his aqiqah cum birthday at Pearl Continental Hotel. Hubby invited about 200 guests. Of coz Baby Ash received lots of gifts and $$$. Heehee.

6 December 2005 - December Blast!

It has been really looooooooong that I last updated my blog... My lappy is givin problems, now its not fine yet but still it is working! haha...

Anyways, hub celebrated his birthday last month... or rather end of last month... We bought a cake for him.

Did i mention in my previous post that I will not buy anything for him? oh well, i did buy something for him... hehe

Nothing special or a any getaway for us wz Baby Ash around... but we did have our dinner alone (juz 2 of us) coz Baby Ash was fast asleep when we left and we decided to let him enjoy his nap while we enjoy our food.

Yesterday we had Brunch out of the house. Food was fantastic and Baby Ash met a pretty little gal. If inshaAllah im gonna have a daughter, hopefully she will look like her... :D





Last but not least, my Baby Ash is turning 1 soon. He can now walk a few steps. climbing on ANYTHING, can say Mama n Papa, loves watching Barney, Hi5, Dora and even Bob The Builder... Look at wat he did to the Hi5 VCD!

Why the title? Here are some Nekkid (not totally) pics of Baby Ash. I just cant believe that he is turning 1 next month, InshaAllah. It seems that I juz found out dat I was preggy, carrying him for 38 weeks, goin thru labour and all, and here he is turning 1 soon. All I can say is, Alhamdulillah.

Presents smua aku da standby nih... :D Im so happy and excited for you all tau!

4 November 2005 - Eid Mubarak, Home Away from Home

Karachi, thats the city where we celebrated Eid for this year, 2005. Baby Ash donned the shalwar kameez, black top and white pants, same for the Baba. Mama donned a top from Anglia together wz a black pants.

You may ask how was Eid over here. Well, I can say that I still prefer Eid in Singapore. It is not as meriah as over there in Sg. Dorang takde lagu raya. Then pagi raya makan Dahi Baray, Shami Kebab and Sweets. Aku terkenang makan sambal goreng, serunding dan rendang.. SIGH! And over in Sg, we will go visiting rite? Kat sini, the guys aje yang pegi. Then the rest of the day, they said "SLEEP!" I was like !@#$$%&&
Aku da pakai cantek2 last2 kena duduk kat rumah. Chet~~

27 August 2005 - Neither Pakistani nor Javanese

I realised that whenever we were outside , 3 of us, ppl tend to look. Will look at Baby Ash, den the parents. It happened not only in Singapore, JB and now it is happening here in Karachi. Heran agaknya dorang eh? Budak ni org apa? Nak kata macam Pakistani, takde alah2 SRK, nak kata Melayu, tak jugak Melayu? Abeh apa eh?
I myself is a Javanese with a mix of Thai. So that makes Baby Ash, Pakistani-Javanese-Thai. It is so much confusing but then again he is my cutie little boy. Juz for the record, he turned 8 MONTHS last monday.

Off the topic title now. Last week I was down wz vomitting. I vomitted a good 7 times. Donch worry peepz, Im not preg. Then I had body ache and the head felt so heavy. The best part is dat im havin g diarhea now. (Aku suka tau mcm gini selalu!)

It has been 2 weeks since we reached and Im getting SICK of Pakistani food. Daal, Nihari, Kebabs are making me nauseaus. I SO badly wanted to eat sambal goreng, tahuey, stuff at Old Chang Keee, carrot cake, popiah, Chicken Hor Fun and the list can go on and on and on. They do have Chinese food here but its still not the same. UWAAAAAA!!!!

From the house to the shopping malls is a mere 5-10mins drive. So you can well imagine how often I spent my time there. The shopping malls are almost the same like in Singapore. Juz yesterday we were down at Forum, having Gelato (yes they have it here as well), den browsing books/mags at Liberty (ala Kinokuniya) and doing the monthly groceries shopping at EBCO (ala Carrefour). Boy was I glad to find out that MAC (my all time favourite make-up brand) has decided to have a counter here. Check this out, they even have Victoria Secrets. WoooHoooo!!! As for baby stuff, MotherCare has also opened an outlet heree. So it seems dat I am in Sg afterall. Btw, I did check the price of my Studio Fix and apparently it cost MUCH MUCH more than in Sg. Oh well, guess I will juz purchase it when Im back in Sg then.

Ive babbled enuf. Will update more soon.

It has been a week since we reached. Everything is well. We are doin well here. Baby Ash is adjusting well however, he has become more manja wz me. I cant get out of his sight and the moment if he sees me, he'll cry. Wassup wz dat rite? Haha

He is having his nap now and dat is the reason why I am able to update.

27 July 2005 - Bubbles, Bubbles

Baby Ash simply loves to make bubbles these days. It will make his air luir basi spreading all over his mouth and some to the extent of dripping! Chet~~ These days too, whenever he cries it will be super loud and with some words as if he wanted to talk. Wat are you trying to say darling? Mama juz cant figure it out... Hahaha

I mentioned before that he will say Emmmm, and then look around for me and surprisingly last nite, the word MA came out... so it was like Emmmm-Maaaa, Emmmm-Maaaa... but pagi ni takde pulak... mcm2 arh ni budak!

A Year Older

20 July 2005 - A Year Older

Alhamdulillah Baby Ash is feeling so much better now after I brought him to see a padeatrician. It difinately cost more but his health is priceless. Boy am I glad to see him moving about in his walker again and gave me his cutest ever smile whenever I talked to him. During this heartbreaking period, he was a little cranky. Wanted to be carried everytime. Even last night, Mama was trying to make him sleep but he kept sayin Emmmmm, Emmmmm and looked around for me. Well, I think he was trying to say MAMA, but only came out as Emmmmmm... Haha. The moment he was in my arms he was quiet and soon enuf, he fell asleep.

As for myself, I turned a year older yesterday. Hub is far away in Dubai and here I am having flu. My sis bought a cake for me the day before and we did have a small makan session.

Whereas last Wednesday, myself and my good old ex-colleagues had lunch together at Let's Eat and after that we had a Karaoke session. It was lots of fun of coz!

Hub called up in the morning to wish me a Happy Birthday. Never really expecting anything from him but at 7am, there was a knock! There stood a man wz a bouquet of flowers. Hub said dat the flowers are from him whereas the bear is from Baby Ash.
So altogether now: "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW"

7 Months Already

25 July 2005 - 7 Months Already

Baby Ash turned 7 Months old recently. No tooth yet and he cant crawl. He can turn into tiarap position and den started to turn back and tiarap again and turn back and tiarap again. This is how he moves from one place to another. If I will put him in the walker, instead of going reverse he now can moves side ways and even forward. Bila lah dia boleh crawl...agaknya berat buntot tak? hehehe



Btw, Im sorry if I have not tagged you ppl for quite awhile. Been sick, been busy and dis stupid laptop of mine is giving problems.

A Sad Day for Baby Ash

2 July 2005 - A Sad Day for Baby Ash


We left home at 9am to send Hubby off at the airport. This will be the longest time Hubby is leaving Baby Ash behind. Hubby is of coz feeling utterly sad leaving behind his "carbon-copy". He will be away for a month. Myself and Baby Ash will soon join him, some time in August, InshaAllah.

Baby Ash was his cheerful self this morning when he woke up giving us his cutest ever smile. But on the way to the airport he started to feel sad knowing dat his Papa is leaving.

Under the Weather

Baby Ash is down with cough, running nose and fever. It is the 1st time that he has fallen sick. Brought him to see doctor and to see him gulping down the medicines makes me feel that at least I know he will get well soon, InshaAllah.

Was supposed to have an appt wz my gyane a month after I gave birth but I was away and by the time I was back in Sg, procastination hit me bad. But finally, made that phonecall to fix an appt to do pap smear. Initially I was scared and rushed to the toilet the moment I reached. LOL! Even my hands/fingers were cold (go ask Herda!!!) My name was called and Mama along with Baby Ash came into the room. Dr Kang was her usual chatty self, even playing with Baby Ash saying "Look, how fast he has grown!" Anyways, it wasnt painful at all...booohoooo!

Playground Moments

18 June 2005 - PlayGround Moments

As usual, Saturday is always an outing out wz Papa. This time round, we went to Suntec City. Baby Ash dozed off in the cab but the moment we reached, he happily woke up! Both of us have not had our lunch so we headed down to CHUTNEY CAFE. Hub has Fish Masala meal while I had Lamb Kebab Roll. Baby Ash had his Baby Bites Rice Cracker. Heehee

After lunch, we headed down to Carrefour, it was so crowded! Wanted to buy Baby Ash's Drypers but juz by looking at the queue at the paying counters, we scrapped that idea off. Beli kat Limbang NTUC lagi senang.

We then headed to Family Link, Baby Ash had his 1st taste at the playground! Well, not really a playground, its just a not-so-small-but-not-so-big area where they placed those little swind, little slide, little chairs etc.

12 June 2005 - FUN, FUN, FUN!

The bored Mama made plans with Wak Ni, and so we headed to Toys R Us. It was Baby Ash's 1st trip down to the well known toys shop. He was fascinated with all the toys there and grabbed every single one of them. His ultimate purpose for grabbing them was so that he could put them straight into his mouth. Well darling, those are not edible wokey!
